Who should come on a Curate Life experience?

  • Any adventurous adult over the age of 21. Each Curate Life experience will include networking, adventure, intellectual learning, cultural experiences, diversity, fun, and more!

What do I do if I want to explore on my own?

  • Generally, our curated experiences allot free time for our travelers to explore on their own. If you are not interested in participating in the planned activities listed in our curated experiences, it is recommended that you sign up for a personalized trip to ensure you get the experience you're looking for. 

What if I don’t have anyone to go with?

  • No problem! With Curate Life, we are all a community in which our purpose is to gain new travel experiences and network with other friendly travelers from all over. We encourage solo travelers to join us with a chance of meeting others traveling alone and growing your travel network!

Do you offer refunds?  

  • Please note that all purchases are non-refundable. Please try to make sure that you can attend the trip before booking it. We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance (CFAR) within 10 days of your purchase. If you need to cancel your booking, you’ll be able to recover your investment from your insurance provider. This website provides a variety of comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance options. In addition, many CFAR insurance plans include medical insurance, which is required for all Curate Life experiences.

How can I get travel insurance?

  • Travel medical insurance is REQUIRED for all of Curate Life trips. Insuremytrip marketplace is a recommended site for all travel insurance. You may choose any travel insurance provider you’d like. Proof of insurance is required to be submitted at least one month before the scheduled departure. Failure to provide accurate proof of insurance prior to attending Curate Life trips will result in cancellation.

  • It is recommended that you include “comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance” plans that will allow you to cancel your trip and obtain a refund from the insurance provider.

Do trip schedules or activities ever change after booking?

  • Yes. Our goal is to maintain the schedule provided in our itinerary as much as possible. However, schedules may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions and local factors.

Will I be safe?

  • Your safety is our number one priority. Our destination selection process is rigorous. We ensure safe conditions for each of our clients to enjoy a full experience.


How can I get a passport?

  • You must have a passport in order to travel to another country. Getting a passport is simple and worth the small investment. Please visit to fill out the necessary requirements to acquire a passport no later than 2 months before your trip departure.

When are new trips dates confirmed?

  • New trips are confirmed once a date is finalized 6 – 12 months in advance from trip departure.

How can I plan ahead for an experience?

  • We like to provide our clients plenty of time to decide whether they would like to attend a trip and begin making preparations to book their reservations. Our destinations are released/confirmed 6-12 months in advance of the trip date to give you an ample amount of time to plan for attendance.

Do I book my own flight?

  • Airfare is not included in reservation booking. You are responsible for booking your own flight to your Curate Life trip destination; we want you to have the ultimate decision in booking your airfare that will best suit your schedule. Curate Life will suggest flights for our travelers that closely line with our itineraries, however, it is not required that you book the recommended flight.

  • Although our trip prices do not include international or domestic flights to and from our destinations, it does include ground transportation while on your experience, accommodations, most meals, all activities listed on the itinerary, lodging, and an unforgettable experience.

Do you have suggestions on where to book my flight?

Will there be transportation to and from airport?

  • Yes! Curate Life will arrange transportation to and from the airport, however if you would like to schedule your own accommodations, please email and let us know.

Where are we staying?

  • Curate Life lodging accommodations are always between 4 – 5 star hotels, resorts, or properties. We can ensure that you will have a comfortable stay in every destination.

Can I extend my stay?

  • Of course you can! Please let us know if you would like to arrive a few days ahead or stay after and we can assist with arrangements.

What If I want to travel alone?

  • No problem! We have options to book a solo room at an additional cost or request to be paired with another solo traveler. We encourage room sharing to foster a sense of networking and community.

Can I invite a friend?

  • Yes! Feel free to invite as many friends as you would like to join us on one of our Curate Life trip experiences. However, please keep in mind due to the limited amount of space and registration closures, we recommend that groups book at the same time.

Who will be my point of contact after booking?

  • We have a team who will assist you with all of your needs, questions, and concerns. Please contact us at We will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours. In addition to our client support contact, you will receive frequent email communications and other opportunities to connect with your experience cohort in the months leading up to your trip.

Do I need a visa to travel with Curate Life?

  • Travel visa requirements depend on the country being visited. Curate Life will be sure to provide notification to all travelers if a visa is required for our destinations. For more info on obtaining a visa for one of our destinations, please use this free tool (

How does the payment plan option work?

  • When you book your reservation for a Curate Life trip, a payment plan option will be available. It will require a deposit that will be due at the time of purchase. In the following months, a payment schedule will be set up with the final payment being due a month and a half before departure.
